Granby, Colorado — After a busy winter operating one of the oldest ski areas in New England, Entabeni Systems is making changes to its leadership team.

Ski Area Management reported earlier this month that Indy Pass and Entabeni Systems are adding four members to their C-Suite (senior executive) team. For context, Entabeni Systems acquired the Indy Pass in 2023 to support its continued growth. This includes a couple of members who were part of the efforts at Black Mountain last winter.

Alex Lahood will serve as Entabeni’s Chief Operating Officer. This will include overseeing operations at Entabeni and maintaining relationships with clients of Entabeni and the Indy Pass. This past winter, he was one of the leaders who oversaw operations at Black Mountain. Before that, he was the assistant General Manager at Whaleback Mountain in New Hampshire.

Olga Grunskaya will serve as the Chief Financial Officer. Some of his prior experience includes being the CFO at a couple of ski resorts in the Northwest (Mission Ridge and Blacktail) and working in the Starbucks finance department.

Nick Niebes will serve as the Chief Marketing Officer. Over the past three years, he has served as the brand manager for Indy Pass while working at Fish Marketing.

Andy Shepard will serve as Indy’s Chief Purpose Officer. Over the past few years, he’s helped Indy with their efforts over at Black Mountain. In prior years, he was the General Manager at the revived Saddleback Mountain. He was also elected into the Maine Ski Hall of Fame and the United States Biathlon Hall of Fame.

Seth Ogden will be their Production Manager. He will assist with marketing projects for the Indy Pass, as well as their financial partnership with Teton Gravity Research. He has worked with various outdoor companies, including Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

Mark Schroetel, who is joining RED Mountain Resort as its President, will continue to work with Entabeni and Indy as an advisor.

The news follows what was a busy winter for the Indy Pass. Erik Mogensen and Entabeni Systems acquired Black Mountain, leading the ski area to a successful winter and spring. In terms of the Indy Pass, new partners were announced in March, with the returning partners set to be announced later this year.
