Shoutout to Redditor GrantGunnison who just discovered an incredible deal for a day of skiing at one of most famous ski resorts in the world.
The Reddit Post points out what was thought to be a glitch in the Aspen Snowmass payment system but appears that its not bug, rather the $3.75 lift tickets valid for December 14th, 2026 are an homage to the original price of a lift ticket when Aspen first opened back on December 14th, 1946.

As far as we can tell, Aspen did not announce this incredible discount and simply put it up for folks to discover. Well as they say, the cats out of the bag and the race is on as fellow Redditors are commenting they are picking up multiple passes and plan to head to Aspen en masse on December 14th.
No telling how long this rollback pricing will last but as of now you can still snag a lift ticket at an incredible 98% off the original price. Cheers to Aspen for this most unexpected and highly smoking deal, Happy 80th Anniversary!
