Quebec — The Ikon Pass has added a new partner that will appeal to Northeast skiers and riders, especially those who live in Quebec.
Yesterday, the Ikon Pass announced that Le Massif de Charlevoix will be a part of the 2025-26 roster. It will be a seven-day partner on the full Ikon pass and a five-day partner on the base pass.
The Quebec ski resort features 53 trails, eight lifts (including three high-speed chairlifts and a gondola) 406.3 skiable acres to explore, and a vertical drop of 2526 feet. There’s also a vast sidecountry area for experts to explore. In terms of snow, it gets 254 inches of snow each season, and sufficient snowmaking that opens the mountain early and keeps the terrain open into the spring. The view from the slopes isn’t too bad either.
With a score of 66 out of 100, Le Massif is rated by PeakRankings as the top ski resort in the East.
Here’s how they describe the ski resort:
“When you drive up to Quebec’s Le Massif, you know it’s something truly special. Boasting spectacular views, distinctive terrain, and one of the biggest footprints in the region, Le Massif de Charlevoix is possibly the East’s closest thing to a true North American destination experience.
Despite snow totals that pale to those of most western resorts, Le Massif’s one-of-a-kind topography makes for an experience that some might call travel-worthy in its own right.”
Ikon has quietly added a decent amount of new partners for the 2025-26 season. The main addition was Ischgl, the powerhouse ski resort in Europe. But they’ve also added four two-day partners to the full Ikon Pass. These options currently Buck Hill, Cranmore, Jiminy Peak, and Wild Mountain. With this latest addition, it seems like Ikon is spreading out from the major destinations in the United States into must buy for avid skiers across the world.
