Monticello, New York — After two offseasons with major changes at Holiday Mountain, this offseason won’t be any different for the New York ski area.

Yesterday, Holiday Mountain announced its offseason projects for the 2025 offseason. The projects will include renovating the triple chairlift and adding a rope tow to Manny’s Run, which will be home to a new terrain park.

Work will also commence on reviving the lost trails over on the North Lodge terrain pod, with the eventual goal of adding eight trails, which have been closed for many years.

In terms of snow tubing, the plan is to build a new 500-foot snow tubing slope with a conveyor lift. A new lodge will also be constructed to service this attraction.

The one removal of the offseason will be the fun park, which included go-karts and batting cages.

Since Mike Taylor bought Holiday Mountain from the brink of closure in 2023, he and his team have made various improvements to the ski area. These upgrades include new trails (including Hackledam, a double black diamond), the replacement of the Turkey Trot chairlift with a fixed-grip quad from Virginia, and significant snowmaking upgrades.

We’ll keep you posted here at Unofficial Networks regarding the latest projects at Holiday Mountain, along with other New York ski areas.
