After 39 Years On Skis, 'Twiggy' The Water Skiing Squirrel Finally Retires

In a bit of sad news, Twiggy The Water Skiing Squirrel finally decided to settle into hibernation last week with some 5 million acorns.

Represented by eight different animals over the years with cameos in “Dodgeball” and “Anchorman,” the original Twiggy cut his (consistently growing) teeth back in 1979 and continued to grind out a career in show biz for some 39 years.

The famous Squirrel performed his swan song at X-Games Minneapolis last week. What he’ll do in retirement is yet to be determined, but we here at Unofficial hope he finds a hobby so he doesn’t go… nuts.
