PistonBully groomer at White Pass Ski Area.

Justin Tornow started working at White Pass Ski Area for over 20 years ago. He started in the kitchen and working as a janitor before getting out to the lifts. Eventually he wound up in the grooming machines, working on PistenBully snow Groomers.

Justin still works at White Pass, but today he shares the mountain with his three sons. His oldest son Keegan works as a grooming operator while his middle son, Braedon, working as a mechanic. His youngest, Mason, isn’t yet a part of the team, but he’s spending his days snowboarding around the mountain. He’s also getting ready to act as a Junior Coach.

“Justin Tornow, one of PistenBully North America’s Official Operators, has been in a PistenBully for over 20 years, and it’s only getting better. Now he gets to work alongside his sons, who grew up at White Pass Ski Area in Washington. In addition to meeting Justin, you’ll meet Keegan (operator), Braedon (mechanic), and Mason (junior coach). Hear why they love both White Pass and PistenBully.”

Talk about a family legacy. Happy belated Father’s Day!

  1. White Pass has a history of great families living/working there. Dave Meyer had a fine history there running the hill, with Nelson Bennett managing from Yakima
