There are hundreds of ski areas across the United States, spread from the east to the west. Some of these ski areas are pretty new, with some opening (or reopening) as recent as this season. Others are much older, dating back to the some of the earliest days of skiing in the country. These are the four oldest ski resorts that are still open across the United States (data presented by the National Ski Areas Association).
