Courchevel, France — It’s been a slow climb for Mikaela Shiffrin to get back on the slopes this winter.

A major crash at Killington on November 30, 2024, sidelined Mikaela for a couple of months. A surprise surgery in December further delayed her timeline. However, she got back on the slopes on January 30th and even secured a World Championship in the Teams Event with Breezy Johnson last week.

In the latest episode of Moving Right Along, Mikaela details her Birds of Prey watching experience, what she did to come back stronger, her first day back on the slopes, the mental challenges in returning, and her first race back in Courchevel.

Mikaela Shiffrin got fifth place in her latest race, which was in Slalom. We’ll see if she can get World Cup win #100 in the weeks ahead.
