Every skier’s favorite meteorologist Chris Tomer is predicting a relatively-dry pattern ahead for most of the west due to a persistent high-pressure system.

That’s kind of a bummer for those that enjoy skiing powder, but plenty of groomer laps in the sun should be on tap through Thanksgiving.

Tomer is predicting decent storm totals to sweep across New England through the week. We won’t see any major dumps, but 4-12″ should freshen up conditions for the ski resorts that are open.

Chris Tomer: “See-saw jet pattern through Thanksgiving with East Coast/Nor Easter possible. I look at snow totals, jet flow, and end of November outlook.”
