Looking for a little ski related Halloween fun…head up to Northeast Slopes in East Corinth, Vermont. There’s a lot to love about this pint sized resort including their egalitarian employee salary structure (zero across the board), the main rope tow uses wheels salvaged from a Model A Ford, and a nod to the 80’s classic “Beetlejuice” scenes which were filmed in town. If you don’t remember, the beginning of the film is a scene of a couple crashing through a red covered bridge and entering the afterlife. That red covered bridge, built as a set piece for the movie, now houses the resorts rope tow. How cool is that?
