There’s a lot to love about Northeast Slopes in East Corinth, Vermont…their egalitarian employee salary structure (zero across the board), the main rope tow uses wheels salvaged from a Model A Ford, and a nod to the 80’s classic “Beetlejuice” scenes of which were filmed in town. If you don’t remember, the beginning of the film is a scene of a couple crashing through a red covered bridge and entering the afterlife. That red covered bridge, built as a set piece for the movie, now houses the resorts rope tow. How cool is that? If you want to go appreciate this little piece of Hollywood in the middle of the Green Mountain State and takes some laps while you’re at it, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the price of a lift ticket…$15 for an adult.
