What a fantastic idea these kids from Walnut Creek, California came up with to provide warm clothing to those in need. Katrina Kirsebom and Corinne Hindes, both 16, started a non-profit 5 years ago to cloth the homeless with unclaimed items in ski resorts lost and found boxes.

The Warm Winters Program has gained notoriety and now 30 ski resorts in 12 states are participating.  Cheers to these girls in their charitable pursuits and maybe next time to forget your hat in the cafeteria you can feel comfort that it might end up with a person in need. Screen shot 2016-02-25 at 2.08.03 PM
