This has been anything but a normal ski season, with resorts across the west struggling with a lack of snowfall while areas in the east celebrating plentiful powder days. For a lot of mountains, even the ones that saw plentiful snowfall, the season is just about over, but some of this year’s biggest winners are keeping the party going. These 5 U.S. ski resorts have seen the most snowfall this winter season (based on resort websites).

5. Palisades Tahoe, California – 360 inch season snow total.

  • 2 inch base as of April 23rd.
  • Closing date TBD.

4. Mount Bohemia, Michigan – 360 inch season total.

  • Closed during weekdays.
  • Open for skiing weekends through Mother’s Day.

3. Alyeska Resort, Alaska – 388 inch season snow total.

  • 114 inch snow depth at the summit.
  • 58 trails open.
  • Closing April 26th.

2. Jay Peak Resort, Vermont – 410 inch season snow total.

  • 8 of 9 lifts open, 21 of 83 trails.
  • 16-40 inch snow depth around the mountain.
  • Expected to stay open until May 9th and potentially beyond.

1. Mt. Baker, Washington – 472 inches (as of April 15th).

  • Closed for the season.
  • Summer operations (cafe and gift shop) begin in July.
