This kayaker showed off his top notch turtle-rolling skills while effortlessly managing several large ocean waves. Ocean kayaking seems like it should be a relaxing activity, but even the casual kayak comes with dangers.
One of the most obvious risks is associated with large ocean waves, as they can flip you or make it difficult to reach your desired destination. The turtle roll demonstrated in this video allows kayakers to pass breaking waves in challenging conditions, especially when the waves have grown to extend over the kayaker’s head.
