Some people extend the ski season by heading to high-altitude resorts until the snow melts, others hike glaciers to earn their late-spring turns, and some travel south to chase powder in the Southern Hemisphere.
Jackson Hole skier Luke Gentry extends the ski season as late as possible by hunting down some red dirt spine lines in the desert. It’s always impressive to see someone stay in control while skiing on straight dirt, rocks, or sand.
His skis probably needed some serious work after these runs, but we’d say it was worth it.
