Stan's Bonanza at Beaver Mountain.

Beaver, Utah — The oldest family-run ski area in the country stands out in a state where its ski resorts have become more corporate over the years. This has led to an atmosphere at Beaver Mountain that’s far different from other ski resorts in Utah.

In the latest episode of Ski Utah’s Signatures series, they dove into their favorite run at Beaver Mountain.

Stan’s Bonanza is a black diamond trail that’s located directly off of the Harry’s Dream chairlift. The groomed run is .63 miles long and features a vertical drop of 1253 feet. It was named after an legendary member of Beaver Mountain’s ski patrol.

Situated in Logan Canyon, Beaver Mountain features 828 skiable acres. The ski area has 48 trails, seven lifts, and a vertical drop of 1700 feet. A new base lodge is under construction at Beaver Mountain, with the building expected to be completed in time for the 2025-26 season.
