Ski patrollers are the heroes of the mountain, making sure everyone stays safe and helping those who wind up injured. When their work is smooth, they’re legitimately the reason why skiing and snowboarding without concern is possible. When their work doesn’t go so well, things tend to look a bit rough.
This ski patrol duo was attempting to bring down a skier/snowboarder in a patrol toboggan when the patroller in rear either dropped the rope or the rope snapped. It’s not exactly clear how the situation ends, but the snowboarder in front couldn’t keep the toboggan from gaining speed.
Hopefully everyone is okay following this incident…
