Brutal moment for this snowmobiler attempting a pretty gnarly hill climb in the backcountry. He starts off looking great, crushing up the mountain with what seems to be a lot of control. Unfortunately things take a pretty hard turn.

As the rider is bucked off, the sled takes a clean u-turn before plummeting directly down the mountain, falling off multiple cliffs and smashing into several pieces.

It seems pretty clear that this snowmobile was nowhere near repairable after that fall. One onlooker even states “it’s not for sale now”, which seems to imply that the poor owner was hoping to make some cash selling the machine. Maybe he’ll still be able to make a few bucks off the scraps.
