If you’re visiting Showdown Montana, the ski resort has just bought a hotel for you to stay at.

KRTV 3 reports that Showdown Montana bought the All Season Inn & Suites earlier this year, and spent eight weeks this summer renovating the hotel, which is now known as The Edith. Over those eight weeks, they renovated the property with new paintings, furniture, bedding, and sculptures on the walls and floors.

Their target markets include skiers, hikers, hunters, fishers, and other adventure-seeking tourists. The new hotel is a thirty-five-minute drive to the ski area, so while it’s not slopeside, it’s not a long drive either.

This acquisition is genius by Showdown Montana for multiple reasons. First off, they can offer ski & stay and group rates to guests, which grows their revenue, and keeps people around for longer than a day trip. Additionally, the hotel can serve as an affordable housing spot for workers in case they can’t find a place to live.

You can learn more about the hotel and other nearby lodging options here. Reservations aren’t available online yet, so if you want to make one, call 406-547-8888.
