Incredible moment captured on camera over the weekend on Lake Powell where boaters witnessed a massive rockslide near Antelope Point Marina. FOX13 reports Mila Carter and her husband Steve were heading into the marina to meet up with family and friends when they noticed a few rocks starting to fall from a nearby cliff:
“It kind of didn’t stop and we could tell that more was coming, so we stopped and I kind of just pulled out my phone just in time.” Mila Carter
Within seconds of Carter recording an entire section of the cliff broke loose and crashed into the water creating a massive splash that sent a wave speeding towards their boat. Steve was alert at the helm and hit the gas to avoid the oncoming wave. The entire experience took just seconds, but was something Carter said she her group won’t soon forget. Wild.
