Loveland Ski Area (Colorado) just announced that they’re auctioning chairs from their old Chair 6 lift that is being replaced with a new Leitner-Poma this summer.
The chairs are highly desirable, and only season passholders are eligible to enter the lottery. Chairs are priced at $650 with $25 going to Alpine Search & Rescue and $25 going to National Forest Foundation for each chair sold.
This is a perfect opportunity for all of you Loveland passholders to score a piece of your home ski area’s history. Don’t miss out. Registration for the lottery is open today (May 25th) through Tuesday, May 31st.

We are replacing the old Lift 6 with a new fixed-grip triple lift from Leitner-Pomathis summer. Due to the high demand and limited quantity, the chairs will be sold through a lottery. Only 2021/22 and 2022/23 season pass holders are eligible to participate.Â

- Registration is will be open Wednesday, May 25 through Tuesday, May 31
- Winners will be notified by June 2
- Cash and credit cards accepted at time of pick-up.
- All sales are final.
- Only one entry per season passholder.Â
- Multiple season passes per household are allowed, but there can only be one winner per household
- Chairs must be picked up between Monday, June 6 and Thursday, June 16, Monday-Thursday between 8:00am and 4:30pm. Must bring ID or Season Pass.
- You must have the means and equipment to transport your chair.
- Dimensions: 113″ Long x 45″ Wide x 25″ Deep.
- Weight: 125lbs
- Loveland will not provide any tie-downs, straps or assistance. They are heavy, you will need to bring someone to load the chair.
- Chairs will be sold in random number order – no requestsÂ
