Is there a hotter name in the skiing and snowboarding universe than Eileen Gu? The 18-year-old burst onto the scene last winter nabbing 2 golds and a bronze medal at the X Games, plus 2 golds and a bronze at the World Championships.
Gu is born to a Chinese mother and an American father. She represents China in international competitions, and will surely be a favorite to grab some medals at the coming Beijing Olympics.
Gu has been traveling the world as a model for various luxury brands, but recently shared a video of her getting some training laps back on snow at Saas-Fee, Switzerland.
She doesn’t throw any crazy tricks in the clip, but her effortless style and poise is noticeable. Keep an eye out for Gu to dominate freestyle competitions for years to come. She’s one badass skier.
