While Americans are basking in the sunshine and soaking up the heat of the hot summer, the ski season has started at many Austrlian and New Zealand ski resorts.
Perisher, Australia shared a video of Paralympian Sam Tait taking a lap on some soft corduroy in what appears to be excellent early-season conditions.
Perisher has already seen over 20″ of snowfall this season, a significant amount considering the resort only averages about 75″ per year.
Americans still can’t visit Australia due to COVID-19 travel bans. Maybe next summer!
