A few years ago, Bode Miller traded his plug boots for a microphone, and sharp edged skis for Sorels.
Now that the skier is officially retired, he’s on the list of industry professionals to be inducted into the Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame this year. The induction ceremony will take place on April in Salt Lake City. Bode Miller is a shoe in for the hall of fame given his World Cup and Olympic Career stats.
Career Highlights:
- 1 Olympic Gold
- 33 World Cup Wins
- 79 World Cup Podiums
- 6 Olympic Medals
- 2 Overall FIS Titles
Numbers never quite tell the whole story though. More than wins themselves, Bode is perhaps best known for his lack of fear. He often referred to the fastest, most reckless path down the course as ‘The Bad Boy Line’ and he wouldn’t shy away from it often.
As dedication to those exciting “DID YOU SEE THAT?” moments he created as a ski racer, we decided to compile a few of the wildest moments from the mercurial skier’s astounding career.
