The forecast for Mt Baker Ski Area is looking good this week as NOAA is forecasting upwards of 17″ by Thursday morning.

The area is currently under a Winter Weather Advisory and models indicate that the northern Cascades should see unsettled, cold, and snowy weather throughout the beginning of the week before rain arrives on Thursday.

Look for first chair all week long as the snow will stay blower until around 11am Mon, Tues, Wed and maybe even Thursday morning if you’re lucky.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute. Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
