A “Vault Supervisor” at Jay Peak Ski Resort in Vermont has been arrested following accusations that she stole more than $70,000 from the ski resort’s safe over the winter.
Lisa Gaylor, a 41-year-old from Barton, has been formally charged with embezzlement. Vermont State Police said she stole cash from the safe in amounts ranging from $2,000 to $6,000 between the fall of 2025 and spring of 2026 which totaled to $70,790.
Police said they began investigating the reported thefts from the secure vault room back on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026. On Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026, Gaylor was taken into custody and transported to the Derby Barracks where she was processed and later released with a citation.
