In the past 24 hours, snow fell on the high alpine resorts of Switzerland, Italy, and France with Zermatt and Tignes looking awfully white for August. The photos are astonishing and I’m sure ski bums across the alps are itching to get back on snow after the latest heat wave nicknamed ‘Lucifer‘ had them begging for mercy.
