Tough day in the backcountry for this hillclimbing snowmobiler who hit a small rock with his front ski at the top of couloir and got bucked off his machine.
Helpless to arrest the snowmobiler from cartwheeling down the couloir, the rider simply watched as it ricocheted off the rocks walls before coming to a stop at the bottom of the incline.
Although the crunching sounds of the snowmobile’s violent descent may have sounded expensive, the damage was somewhat superficial. After replacing handlebars and steering post it was good to go.
