In the month of January, Tahoe recorded a whopping 270″ of snow in what will go down as one of the best month’s of skiing in the United States of America– EVER. To put that number in perspective for Californians numbed by snowfall totals, Steamboat only received 289″– the entire season. That’s all thanks to a little friend we like to call “Atmospheric River.”
