Stifel U.S. Ski Team Fundraiser Raises $1.35 Million

Stifel’s annual U.S. Ski Team fundraiser brought in $1.35 million in St. Louis, supporting training, programs and athlete development, U.S. Ski & Snowboard announced Monday.

Stifel chairman and CEO Ron Kruszewski hosted the 11th annual event, featuring a Snowchella theme inspired by Coachella. “These athletes don’t just bring home medals, they bring home pride,” Kruszewski said.

Athletes attending included Mikaela Shiffrin, Alex Ferreira, Noah Elliott and sisters Lauren, Alli and Sam Macuga. Shiffrin said the fundraiser has generated more than $10 million over its 11 years.

“Thanks for the millions, Ron. In all seriousness, St. Louis…you truly are special. A record $1,350,000 raised this year for U.S. Ski & Snowboard.” -Mikaela Shiffrin

The proceeds benefit the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Foundation, the organization’s nonprofit fundraising arm. Established in 1964, the foundation raises money for athletes’ year-round training, development, competition and educational needs. Its fundraising calendar includes both formal gatherings and on-snow events, which the organization describes as a significant source of support for its annual fund.

Stifel’s involvement extends beyond the annual fundraiser. Unofficial Networks previously covered the company’s eight-year title partnership extension with U.S. Ski & Snowboard, which runs from May 2026 through April 2034. The agreement supports alpine, cross-country, freeski, moguls, aerials, ski jumping, Nordic combined and Para alpine teams.

The renewal also includes a performance bonus program for athletes and coaches, adding another form of financial support alongside the company’s title sponsorship.

Cheers to Stifel for their incredible support for our winter athletes. This party looked like a hoot!
