Bolton, Vermont — Bolton Valley is entrusting a longtime employee with one of its most important jobs.
Yesterday, Bolton Valley Resort announced that longtime employee Nick Lemire has been promoted to become its General Manager.
Prior to working at Bolton Valley, he worked at Okemo Mountain Resort and as a tennis professional at North Carolina’s Cape Fear County Club. He joined Bolton Valley in 2016 as their After School Program Coordinator for their renowned Ski & Ride Program. He was promoted a year later to Bolton’s Ski and Ride Manager, and then again a few years later to Director of Guest Experience.
“Nick has demonstrated incredible leadership since joining Bolton Valley a decade ago,” said Lindsay DesLauriers, President of Bolton Valley. “Over the years, he has consistently taken on more responsibility within the company and has been transformative at every step. I’m excited to see what he brings to this new role, and Bolton Valley is incredibly fortunate to have him leading our operation.”
As Bolton’s new GM, Nick will continue to focus on maintaining the ethos of the Vermont ski resort while also improving the experience for guests, employees, and local stakeholders.
“For many of us, Bolton Valley is much more than a ski resort,” said Lemire. “Bolton Valley has always been about more than skiing and riding. It’s the people, the community, and the experience of being here. I feel really grateful for the opportunity to help lead a mountain that means so much to so many people.
We have an incredible team of dedicated people who care deeply about this mountain, and I’m excited to work alongside them as we build on the strong foundation already in place.
Much like most of our skiers and riders, this mountain has a special place in my heart too. I’m looking forward to continuing to connect with our community and to continue to make Bolton Valley an affordable, year-round outdoor destination for everyone.”
