Friends of the Colorado Avalanche Information Center and Loveland Ski Area are teaming up once again for the 25th Annual Corn Harvest, set for Saturday, April 25.
More than just a fundraiser, the Corn Harvest has become a long-standing spring skiing tradition, with ticket sales directly benefiting Friends of CAIC and its avalanche forecasting and safety work across Colorado. It’s now it its 25th year.
Attendees can expect a live performance by Mark Morris and The Rope Duckers, a barbecue lunch, cold drinks, and a raffle featuring more than 50 items from partner brands. VIP tickets include the event’s signature tie-dye t-shirt, and discounted lift tickets are available through the event page.
This year’s Corn Harvest falls on Loveland’s closing weekend, adding extra significance to the gathering.
“It’s been a bit of a strange and disappointing season in terms of snow, but that’s all the more reason to come on out and support your local ski hill and enjoy a great day.” – Eli Davis, Friends of CAIC marketing and communications officer.
The day kicks off with registration from 8:30 to 9:30am in the Lower Ridge View Room, followed by a guided tour of Loveland from 10:30am to 1:30pm, lunch on the Basin Patio from 11am to 1pm, live music at 3pm, and the raffle beginning at 3:30pm.
Tickets and information are available at skiloveland.com.
