After a long and fairly prosperous ski season throughout the east, New York will officially see the end of the 2025/2026 ski season this upcoming weekend. Whiteface Mountain, the last open resort in the state, is closing after Saturday, April 18th.
Whiteface has been closed during the week, but reopened today, Friday, April 17th, for last two days of winter. Friday features live music from 12pm to 3pm by musician Joshua West.
Little Whiteface, Warhorse, Summit Quad, and Cloudsplitter Gondola are all spinning heading into the final few days. 23 trails are open as well. All midweek only passes are being honored for this weekend.
If you’re looking to get your hands on some gear or merchandise, everything in Brookside Apparel is currently 30% off, while the Youth Outwear sale rack is 75% off.
Don’t miss out on the last few days to ski in New York this spring!
