Londonderry, Vermont — Magic Mountain had a very good 2025-26 season.

Once an afterthought in the Vermont skiing scene, the independent Vermont ski resort has found its market of avid skiers and riders. The opening of two chairlifts since 2018, along with snowmaking upgrades and expanded parking, has helped improve the skier experience. Magic also limits lift tickets and season pass sales, meaning the slopes and lift lines don’t become crowded.

Magic Mountain has recently upped its marketing game and has been producing a lot of great video content. Their latest promo shows sweet footage from this past ski season, set to “The Chain” by Fleetwood Mac, and a voiceover from a guy who sounds like he’s in a truck commercial.

As referenced in the video, season passes are currently in the early-bird pricing period. Adults aged 30-64 can buy one for $789, while young adults (ages 18-29) can purchase one for $539. They stay at this price point either until June 15th or until they surpass last year’s Tier 1 sales by 10%. Magic is also on the Indy Pass, and plans to remain on it for the 2026-27 season. Magic passholders are also able to do an Indy add-on pass.

While Magic Mountain closed for the season on April 4th, they’ll have things going on this summer. The Black Line Tavern (Magic’s restaurant and bar) will be open this summer during weekends, and there’s also a disc golf course to explore. During the fall, they have scenic chairlift rides and tree-clearing days for the glades.
