Eden, Utah — Following a transformative 2024-25 season, Powder Mountain is implementing further changes.

This week, Powder Mountain announced what’s new for the 2025-26 season.

Last winter, Powder Mountain opened three new public chairlifts, reintroduced terrain parks, constructed a new parking lot, and installed art sculptures. There were also some additions that drew a mixed reaction, including privatization of a portion of the ski resort, the introduction of paid parking on weekends and holidays, and making February weekends only accessible for passholders and members. This season will also see various improvements, although the biggest change will be taking place on the private side, now known as Powder Haven.

Here’s a rundown of what’s coming to PowMow and Powder Haven during the 2025-26 season.

Private Side: The growth of Powder Haven will continue this upcoming winter. After opening the Raintree chairlift last winter, another chairlift will debut for members. This winter will see a chairlift added to the Davenport terrain pod. The 1,000 acres of tree skiing and steep runs will be serviced by a detachable high-speed chairlift. This will increase the number of private lifts from four to five.

A new 73,000-square-foot clubhouse for members (ArcLodge) and another new chairlift (opening during the 2026-27 season) are also planned for private members in the future.

Members can access the lifts shaded in orange and blue.

Public Side: Work continues on the Wolf Canyon/DMI expansion, which was announced in 2024. The terrain expansion into DMI will add 1,047 acres of terrain. This will include 900 acres of lift-serviced and 147 acres of hike to terrain. It will be serviced by a fixed-grip triple chairlift from SkyTrac. According to the Salt Lake Tribune, an official opening date for the chairlift has not been determined, as the next winter will be spent assessing the terrain for avalanche risks. However, there will be private guided experiences open this upcoming winter.

Powder Mountain passholders will receive new benefits this season, with the most notable one being reciprocal tickets. This will allow friends to ski with passholders thanks to eight 50%-off tickets. Passholders will also get early 8 a.m. turns on Hidden Lake for three days during the season. Unlocked, which tracks your stats at Powder, will see more updates for this upcoming winter.

Every Saturday at PowMow is expected to be a festive time, with a DJ, fire pits, a spectator zone, and terrain park competitions. This event series will begin on December 20th at the Timberline Lodge.

The Powder Art Foundation will also unveil the first phase of commissions and acquisitions.

It sounds like it’ll be another memorable season at Powder Mountain. If you haven’t visited this place yet, you should definitely do so. When I typically go, it’s my best day of the whole season.
