Ben Hildred climbs 1 million feet in 100 days.

1 million feet is a pretty massive distance. Mount Everest, the tallest point on Earth, reaches 29,032 feet above sea level. The Karman line, which is frequently used by scientists to mark the edge of outer space, is located 328,084 above sea level. 1 million feet is 189.4 miles. So while 1 million feet on a bike isn’t necessarily that intense of a project, climbing up 1 million feet on a bike certainly is.

New Zealand mountain biker Ben Hildred set a goal of climbing 10,000 feet on his mountain bike every single day for 100 days, amounting to 1 million total feet of climbing.
