Biking on a moss covered pipeline.
Biking on a moss covered pipeline.

There are plenty of wildly unique mountain biking trails in the world, but this one on Vancouver Island in British Columbia might be the coolest we’ve ever seen.

The Sooke Flowline runs for 27 miles along a concrete aqueduct from Sooke Hills to Sooke Lake. It’s not a majorly popular route and local government organizations have previously recommended staying away due to its lack of maintenance, but its mossy coverage and the surrounding forest make for a stunning trail.

You can tell by mountain biker Dean Tennant that this ride is not for the faint of heart with some seriously intense drops on both sides. Still, it’s pretty remarkable.
