Pats Peak earth blasting.

Pats Peak in New Hampshire is in the process of installing its first ever quad chairlift. The Hurricane Triple Chair on the mountain is set to be replaced with a SkyTrac quad lift with parts supplied from a former quad chairlift that operated at Lake Compounce amusement park in Connecticut.

While the new lift doens’t appear to be close to completion, the mountain is putting in the work blasting earth to make room for the lift and its towers.

Construction on the project is being led by two local New Hampshire companies, Pfister Mountain Services and Phoenix Excavation. The new Hurricane chairlift will feature a loading conveyer and a gentler entry slope for easier loading. Pats Peak sold off the triple chairs from the old lift for $299 each.
