Breckenridge, Colorado — Work is underway on new luxury housing developments that come with impressive perks for the owners.
This week, the developers of Finale announced that they have broken ground on Independence Townhomes, with the first ones (which have already sold expected to be completed in November 2026.
The Independence Townhomes will feature 16 downtown Breckenridge residences, which will cost between $4.125 million and over $6 million. These units will have a size of 2,400 to 3,500 square feet and also feature two vehicle garages. The main benefit is that each unit sale will come with two lifetime Epic Passes (“subject to availability”), which are valid for sixty years. These homeowners will be able to purchase ownership at the Grand Colorado, which includes access to various amenities.

For homesites, Victory Ridge will have properties with acreage between 2/3 and 1 acre. Prices will range between $5.2 million and $8.9 million. These will also come with two lifetime Epic passes. These houses, which are situated above the Peak 8 base area, went on sale this week.
“Since launching sales of the Independence Townhomes in March, we have seen tremendous interest in Finale and are excited to be underway with construction as we prepare to welcome homeowners in late winter of 2026,” said Graham Frank, who’s the developer and one of two managing members of The Finale Development Partnership. “Simultaneously, we are proud to introduce the second phase of Finale with Victory Ridge, one of the last remaining opportunities for custom home building within the Breckenridge Ski Resort and ideal for those seeking privacy, adventure and unrivaled ski-in/ski-out access to the runs and lifts of Peak 8.”
Other parts of this Peak 8 development plan include The Imperial Hotel & Private Residences and The Imperial Chalets & Villas. There’s also one homesite that’s next to these two developments that is going for $8.9 million. Let me know if you wanna split the bill with me on that one.
The Imperial Hotel & Private Residences received a critical approval last month. However, this plan encountered a big bump this week. Summit Daily reports that the One Ski Hill Place Homeowners Association filed a lawsuit against Breckenridge Grand Vacations (the hotel developers) and a subsidiary of Vail Resorts over a terminated easement related to the development.
This summer, the developers plan to start building out the road and other essential infrastructure for the Victory Ridge and Imperial developments. The goal is to commence vertical construction in spring 2026.
