Park City, Utah — If you’re an avid Park City skier who wants to be close to the action, a vast property is about to hit the auction block.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that on June 12th, 2500 W White Pine Lane will be heading to auction. The auction for this stunning property will last until June 26th. Due to it being on the market for an extended period (50 days), the owner decided to have it go to auction. Designed by Fred Babcock, the property features three separate buildings. There’s the primary residence, a 7,700 square foot building that has lots of space to host guests. The separate guest residence is a decently sized house in and of itself. Then there’s the entertainment barn, which features horse stables, a yoga/workout room, and other spaces.
The ultimate appeal of the property is its location. It’s situated in The Colony at White Pine Canyon, which is a luxury home community in the middle of Park City Mountain Resort. It gives private access to the Tombstone terrain pod. While most are starting their day in the Canyons Village, residents here get quick access to Tombstone. It also gives guests access to the Over and Out and Timberline connector lifts, letting them easily reach other terrain pods. This also gives residents the ability to get to Ninety-Nine 90 quickly, which is known as some of PC’s most challenging terrain. This terrain pod is reachable from the Tombstone chairlift.
Unless a heavy bidding process ensues, this likely won’t be the most expensive home sale ever for Utah. The most expensive Utah home sale happened last year, as a Deer Valley mansion with a gondola sold for nearly $60 million.
