Given that we’re in the last few days of April, it shouldn’t be all that surprising to learn that a majority of ski resorts across the country are closed at this point. Even the states known for late skiing are starting to dwindle with what’s still open.
But for those of us who just aren’t willing to give up our favorite snow activities, there are still mountains spread around the country with on-snow operations. Some still have plenty of snow, some are just barely holding on. In New England, just four ski areas are still offering skiing and snowboarding this spring, and those numbers will dwindle even further after this weekend.
