New Hampshire — Many New England resorts are nearing the end of ski season. Following a cold December, January, and February, spring temperatures and weather have arrived in the Northeast. This means that there are quality spring skiing days ahead, but act quickly, as most ski resorts have either closed or will shut down for the season in the next couple of weeks.
Here’s a rundown of the projected closing dates for ski resorts across New Hampshire. This list will be updated if these dates change.
Abenaki: March 30th
Attitash: Open daily until March 6th. Plan is to close for the midweek, then reopen the Bear Peak side of the ski resort from April 11-13.
Black Mountain: Open weekends in April.
Bretton Woods: Open every day through April 13th.
Cannon: April 13th. Tram is closing for the season on March 30th.
Cranmore: Open through March 30th. Hoping to reopen one final weekend (April 5th and 6th).
Gunstock: April 6th
King Pine: March 30th.
Loon: April 13th.
Mount Sunapee: April 6th.
Ragged: April 6th. Pond skim on April 5th.
Tenney Mountain: March 30th.
Waterville Valley: Operating daily until April 5th. From April 6th to 8th, they’ll move the snow around and reopen the lifts on April 9th. Closing date is April 12th.
Wildcat: April 6th.
Already Closed: Crotched, Dartmouth Skiway (planning to host pond skim in April), Granite Gorge, McIntyre, Pats Peak, Whaleback.
