Wild clip from one of the most creative skiers in the world as Leo Taillefer teamed up with Tignes Air Experience for an airshow inspired ski stunt.
Tignes Air Experience offers tourists year round flights over Tignes Ski Resort and surrounding mountains on “pendular microlights”:
“Put down your skis, sit comfortably in the machine and you find yourself propelled into a childhood dream: to fly over the resort and mountains, play with slopes and summits like on a flying carpet and enjoy the amazing panoramic view.“
A pilot from Tignes Air Experience hooked up what appears to be some type of fine ribbon material and dragged it just above the snow as Leo perfectly timed a jump which laced himself between the floating strands of fabric.
No idea what the repercussions would be if he had gotten tangled midair and thankfully we didn’t find out. This is spectacular.
