This snowmobiler had a whole series of close calls during this brutal wipeout after what was looking like a pretty sweet hill climb.
As the sled bucks the driver at a particularly steep bit towards the top of the mountain, the rider is set tumbling down the mountain with the machine coming down right behind him.
This seems like a pretty tough situation to be in. If the driver self arrested at a bad time, the sled could have hit him from behind, but allowing himself to continue down the hill has its own danger. Good thing he seems mostly okay at the end, though I can’t quite say the same for his sled.
