Ten Sleep, Wyoming — Meadowlark Lodge is going to look like a whole different mountain this upcoming winter.
Over the past month, Meadowlark Lodge has detailed various projects they’ve worked on this offseason. Probably the most notable is glade work, which wasn’t something prevalent under the prior ownership. In collaboration with the U.S. Forest Service, Meadowlark is removing problematic trees from the woods. Not only does this add nearly 50 acres of glade skiing, but it also reduces wildfire risk.
The second update came last week, which saw them around the trees of the Silver Bullet chairlift. They have been busy clearing up the woods, meaing skiers will be able to explore them this winter.
Since Mas Tierra (A Miami-based investments firm that’s affiliated with Inter Miami) bought it earlier this year, they’ve made various upgrades. These include lodge renovations, a new lift shack, lift upgrades, and a new leadership team. For snowboarders, the group also recently bought Arbor Snowboarding. They plan to make Meadowlark a testing ground for the snowboarding brand, where you can demo the equipment.
Overall, this ski resort has a lot of exciting things going on for this upcoming winter.
