An intoxicated male was arrested after trespassing in a closed area at Copper Mountain and refusing to leave, with Copper Security requesting assistance from Summit County deputies.

According to the Summit County Justice Files, the male was found trespassing on a closed patio, remaining uncooperative and refusing to move when deputies arrived. The deputies spent over an hour trying to verbally remove the man from the premises, including suggesting other options for where he could go.

The man continued to refuse to move from the private property and was taken into custody. The man continued to be uncooperative upon arrival at the Summit County Detention Facility.

During a routine search of his belongings, deputies discovered several different types of drugs including MDMA, marijuana, and mushrooms. As such, the man was booked on trespassing, obstruction, and possession of controlled substances.
