Northern Vermont has seen a killer past few days, with Jay Peak having seen 13 inches of snowfall in the past 48 hours. The rest of the northeast has also seen a bit of snowfall recently, and more is on the way. Sadly for the skiers and snowboarders out west, meteorologist Chris Tomer doesn’t forecast that luck expanding towards them.

Between the 1/14 and 1/19 time period, California, Oregon, and most of Washington are forecasted to see no snowfall. Most of the west will likely see less than 6 inches of snow, if that, but parts of Colorado could see between 6 and 14 inches.
Jay Peak, and other parts of northern Vermont, could see between 6 and 10 inches, while the rest of the northern New England resorts are forecasted to see between 1-4 inches of snowfall.
