The Tatrzańskie Ochotnicze Pogotowie Ratunkowe (TOPR) is a volunteer organization that has been rescuing people from Poland’s Tatra Mountains since 1909. Every year they are involved in 800 rescues and they have taken a decidedly high tech approach to their operations with the inclusion of heavy duty drones that can deliver payloads of essential equipment (88lbs max) to Poland’s highest peaks.
Test flights of the DJI FlyCart 30 dynamic delivery system were conducted over the summer with resoundingly positive results, proving to be an amazing resource for the brave folks at TOPR.
