Pältsa is one of the northernmost mountain in Sweden, located just by the border to Norway. There’s not much around it, aside from the STF Pältsa Mountain cabin and a few other buildings. During WWII, the cabin was used by the resistance movement as a base.
It’s incredibly remote, and while there are nearby hiking trails, any evidence of skiing on the mountain seems non-existent. Armed with the little information they could find, Kajsa and William Larsson and Niklas Wallner headed out to grab some turns of the northernmost mountain of Sweden.
“Pältsa – William found this peak and told Kajsa about it. Despite being in week 25 of pregnancy, she joined in on the uncertain adventure into an area with little to no information about it. Together with Niklas Wallner, who shot and edited the movie, and Anders Holmgren, who skied, this adventure was a memory of a lifetime for all of us!“
