Ross Tester spent three years on the Freeride World Tour, skiing like a beast the entire time. Many of his runs caught the attention of the freeride world, including his winning run at the first event of his rookie season. But at the end of the 2023 season, Tester decided to step away from competition.
Instead he focused on really rediscovering why he loves skiing, putting his attention and energy towards a ski film project. HERE 4 NOW is what came out of that focus.
“When coming up with the idea for this project, I was unnecessarily tripping out about what to do with my winter. Here 4 now symbolizes embracing who you are as a person, where you are, and whatever conditions you are dealing with. Being here, for now, is a privilege in itself. I had a lot of fun putting this together and hope you enjoy!“
Though it was sad to see Tester missing through the 2024 freeride season, he will be returning as a wild card athlete for the 2025 Freeride World Tour. I’m excited to see what he’s got in store for us this year!
